The party does not stop until every throat is hoarse and everyone has danced their shoes off.
Piet Maris and Theophane Raballand (both from Jaune Toujours) play their accordion and drums, as well as the audience, who are constantly encouraged to sing, dance, jump and fantasize. Depending on the audience the songs are sung in French or Dutch, or in ideal situations in both.
DANCE TO IK EN DEN THEO / MOI ET LE THEO & BAL MODERNE!
Choux de Bruxelles often works together with Bal Moderne: to celebrate Belgium’s EU presidency in 2010 , the event België Danst/La Belgique Danse took place: in 12 Belgian cities people danced to Jaune Toujours’ Ici Bxl simultaneously, with a choreography by Maria-Clara Villa-Lobos. Maria-Clara has now translated songs of Ik En Den Theo/Moi Et Le Théo into dances suited for kids, making the concerts even more active and playful. Shake a leg!
