PAULINE
Pauline is a monologue (in Dutch) based on the story of a refugee who arrived in Brussels after a very long and trying journey.
Sarah Baur met Pauline at the request of Médecins du Monde / Dokters van de Wereld in Belgium and wrote a text based on her testimony.
Pauline and Sarah then collaborated on the creation of paper cut stop motion films to accompany the monologue.
This resulted in a performance of half an hour: a good starting point for discussions, debates or interactive lectures.
Originally Dutch spoken, but later in 2020 there will also be a version in French.
